Jumbo Body Acoustic Guitar

Jumbo guitars are very similar to dreadnaughts, just with larger bottom to the body. My favorite type of jumbo guitars are the Gibson AJ (Advanced Jumbo) styles. They contain a sloped shoulder that provides more comfort when playing compared to the wider top of most dreadnaughts. As far as sound, due to the more subtle high end they come off a little bit less complex and dynamic, but have their own unique twang that I personally adore. I also very much like the aesthetic of these body styles. If a dreadnaught is too uncomfortable for you, maybe try an AJ body.
