Two Hands Corndogs

The Restaurant

Two Hands Corndogs differs from the rest of the restaurants I'm reviewing as it is a chain. It serves Korean-style corndogs, thick corndogs with cheese and/or meat inside.

The Order

We decided to order a variety of corndogs, some with cheese some without. In all, we tried the "Spicy", "Potato", "Two Hands", "Crispy Rice", and "Classic". We ordered a side of the Elote and Kimchi Fries to go with the meal, and two different boba teas to try.

The Drink Review

The teas were nice but nothing astounding. I had the ube tea, and my brother tried the horchata tea. They were both good, but they didn't blow me away, not that they had to.

The Appetizer Review

The appetizers were unfortunately a bit disappointing. The fries were good, but I can't say they tasted much like kimchi, at least to me. The elote was fine, the flavor was good but it wasn't very crunchy as Elote typically is. They were both fine if you were getting a combo or were hungry, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get either.

The Main Course Review

The corndogs were interesting. To start with the classic, it is a corndog coated in sugar, ketchup, and mustard. It was really fantastic and set a great precedent, the batter was nice and thick with a chewy inside and crunchy inside. While it sounds weird, the sugar, ketchup, and mustard all combine really well together. Another notable one was the spicy, which carried some decent heat to it. The potato looked strange, but it had a pretty great texture, and the same could be said for the crispy rice corndog. The two hands dog is the only one I had a very middling opinion about, the ranch was nice, but I preferred the interesting flavors and textures presented by the other options for the same price. All and all I enjoyed the restaurant and would recommend it for a quick bite you can have on the go or sitting down.

Seriously Listen To How Crunchy It Was!
