Phở Tahn Mi

The Restaurant

Phở Tahn Mi is a Vietnamese restaurant. I've had Vietnamese before so I had some frame of reference walking in, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't excited walking in.

The Order

For the appetizer, I got the spring rolls, a Vietnamese classic, and of course, for the main dish I had a bowl of phở. I chose steak, but they have a ton of different kinds, even tofu phở for vegetarians. I also ordered a boba tea, which was a blended frozen kind.

The Drink Review

The tea was fantastic! We ordered two different flavors, the honeydew and the Ube. Both tasted great, the Ube had the classic nutty-vanilla flavor you expect, and the honeydew was delightfully sweet and tasty. I would very much recommend getting one with your meal, you won't regret it.

The Appetizer Review

The spring rolls were amazing! The greens were fresh, the shrimp tasted nice, and the sauce complimented it perfectly. It had a nice, fresh, clean taste with a satisfying crunch and chew. Wonderfully done, I would highly reccomend them.

The Main Course Review

The phở was absolutely amazing. It comes with a plate of herbs (cilantro and mint), jalapeno, and bean sprouts. There are also sauces at the table like fish sauce to flavor it to your choice. I had it with a bit of everything that was included on the plate, and I very much enjoyed it. It was nice and savory with a deep flavor, and it was surprisingly filling for a soup, so much so that I could not finish the bowl. Phở was something I always wanted to try, and it definitely lived up to my expectations.
