Their Rise To Fame

As previously mentioned, Nirvana burst onto the scene in 1991 when they released their album "Nevermind". This album was their coming out party, as they became major rock stars at that time. They then came out with their next album, "In Utero", which also provided big hits that are still played. They revolutionized rock music at the time, being pioneers for a style called Grunge. With hits like "Smells like Teen Spirit", "Heart-Shaped Box", and "Come as You Are" still being played to this day, the band although done in 1994, still make an impact to this day.
