Founded in 2020 by Sebastian Haapahovi and a small group of golf enthusiasts who were frustrated by the high retail
prices of traditional golf equipment, Takomo Golf was established with the goal of making premium-quality clubs available
to everyday golfers through direct-to-consumer sales. The company is located in Turku, Finland. To accomplish this mission,
the founders decided to eliminate middlemen, allowing them to sell directly online and offer an alternative to forged irons
and wedges that traditionally sell at retail prices hundreds of dollars higher than Takomo's pricing. The design philosophy

Takomo 101
With regard to the design of the Takomo 101 irons, it was evident that the company had in mind two areas: the New Golfers
in terms of their Forgiveness (ease with which they can gain height and distance), and how those golfers might progress to
becoming regular players on the course. Through the use of cavity-back (CC) technology along with a combination of strong loft
angles and a visually pleasing design, CCs make it easier for new golfers to reach the same heights and distances that current
players achieve. Plus, the use of a wider sole and perimeter weight helps to provide a stable base for the golfer's clubhead
to deliver a consistent ball flight, even when the player may not have made solid contact with the ball. Therefore, whether

Takomo 201
