My Favorite Gear

My all-time favorite disc to throw for any whole is the Prodigy A2. The A2 is an approach disc, which means it's meant for throwing shorter shots that are not off the tee. However, the disc can be thrown off the tee, as the approach disc is just for name-sake. The flight numbers are 4/2/0/4, meaning that the disc requires low power, falls pretty quickly, is very overstable, and will have a lot of dig towards the ground. The A2 for me is super reliable, I can always get the shot that I want from the disc. Whether that's an S-curve upshot, a flat forehand, or a big skip at the end of the flight, I can always achieve my goal when I throw this disc. My personal A2 is in 500 plastic, meaning that it's a more premium plastic that's meant to last longer than base plastic, but causes the disc to be a tad more overstable. This disc has been in my bag since I started playing and I will never replace this disc.
